Commons commemorates with cupcakes

The inauguration of President Donald Farish was celebrated in many ways this week at Roger Williams University, the sweet­est of which was a display of 1,400 cupcakes. Bon Appetit, the food man­agement company serving Rog­er Williams University, catered the inauguration reception, which took place in the Cam­pus Recreation Center Gymna­sium immediately following the Investiture.

Ambassador opens Distinguished Lecture series

An esteemed guest spoke to the Roger Williams University community Wednesday night, the first in a slew of events cel­ebrating the inauguration of Donald Farish. Farish invited United Nations Ambassador Andrew Young to kick off the first of his "Presi­dent's Distinguished Lecture Series: Conversations on Civil Discourse, the Arts and Hu­manities, and Current Affairs.

Fifteen minutes of fame

Students walking by the rear of the Commons on Tuesday saw a new development in cam­pus art: a fifteen minute art show called "Fifteen Minute Parking," in which Roger Wil­liams University students show­cased works they created for their digital media class.
