Professor lives without technology

At 4:50 a.m., as he fills his cup of water, he does not switch on the TV. He does not log onto the computer and he does not turn on a cell phone. Instead, he sits down to an elaborate breakfast containing oats and milk, homegrown apples, a banana and a grapefruit, because he can't stand boxed cereal.

RWU wins GYT?

Roger Williams University is expected to have won the Get Yourself Tested (GYT) Campus Challenge. Although the results will not be in until sometime this week, RWU was in the lead when the challenge closed. By the age of 25, 1 in 2 sexually active people will have contracted a sexually transmitted disease.

Theatre department's production of 'The Male Animal' entertains audiences

With the last performance on May 1st, the student-performed play "The Male AnimaI" was deemed a success for everyone involved. "The Male Animal" is a, "romantic comedy about the roles of men and women, but it's also about brain versus brawn and academic freedom," said Director Jeffery Martin.

The Fray give small crowd big show

CEN kicked off its Spring Weekend on Apr. 28 with the highly opposed concert featuring internationally-known artist The Fray. "The show was more than Dan [Shea, CEN Traditions co-chair] and I could have hoped for," said senior CEN Traditions co-chair Cat Stines.

On April 24, Roger WIlliams University was rocked by a show that is sure to be remembered for years to come as Four Year Strong headlined WQRI's annual Spring Spectacle. Student garden plant greens during Earth Week

The people behind the Student Garden are preparing the members involved for the upcoming growing season. On Monday, April 19, the first day of Earth week, an event was held at the garden for all who attended to cover the history of the garden's creation and the organic farming philosophy behind the garden's design.
